Buster.... the beginning

We purchased Buster on June 1, 2011.... what a dream come true! She is back in Chesapeake, VA so we figured that we would do some sightseeing before we put her on a truck to come home to Washington. So, our travels on the Chesapeake Bay will begin with our flight back on June 27. We are planning several days there at Atlantic Yacht Basin (on the inter-coastal waterway) just to familiarize ourselves with all of the systems and get her properly equipped and stocked. From there the adventure begins. Hopefully we will be watching fireworks this year in Yorktown but we have no real firm plans for our 3 week trip.

  2. For some reason, Dreamboat Annie by Heart came to mind when I saw Buster's picture! Can't wait to meet her in person!

  3. WOW!!! Buster is a gorgeous boy! You two have a grand time messing about with boats on the Chesapeake Bay and wherever Buster takes you exploring!

  4. Chris and Susan,

You can pick me and my family up at the Port of Poulsbo on July 3rd. I'll bring the crab!

Seriously - what an amazing ride! My wife and I have drooled over this exact boat for a few years (although we would add the flybridge.) Congrats to both of you! It's all about the journey...

  5. PS - While you're on the Chesapeake, you need to find Cantler's Riverside Inn, near Annapolis. Dock right at the restaurant, and get a bushel of blue crab dumped on the table...
